Pressure Testing
Denholm Pipecare offers a leading edge solution for pneumatic pressure testing. In addition to the usual Pneumatic testing provided, we also provide Hydrostatic testing for steel and PE100 (HDPE) materials.
Also available as an approved and state of the art alternative to final air testing, is the use of Advanced Acoustic Pressure Testing (AAPT) which has been developed by Advantica and used extensively by Denholm Pipecare (under licence) for the last 3 years. This equipment has been designed to eliminate the difficulties experienced with pipe ‘creep’ and temperature variations, particular on tests with large diameter PE80 and PE100 pipelines.
Denholm Pipecare are the only contractor in the world with the full licence to use this equipment, which typically saves over 75% of the time normally spent on the final air test and makes ‘failing’ tests quicker to identify.
