Pipeline Replacement/Rehabilitation
In addition to the everyday pipeline replacement techniques such as insertion or slip lining, Denholm Pipecare are specialists in the more complex techniques of rehabilitation, in particular the use of swagelining and pipe bursting. Recent successfully completed large diameter (16”/18”) swagelining projects in Leamington Spa, Sutton Coldfield and Edinburgh have re-introduced the technique to many engineers in the Gas Industry. The working relationships with the Highways departments is usually an additional benefit of using swagelining, as the need for excavations and subsequent traffic disruption can be reduced by approximately 90%.
