Pipeline Inspection and Maintenance
Pipeline maintenance is available in a number of ways depending on the clients needs. Pipeline external inspection using such as GUL inspection can be used to determine the pipeline condition and maintenance needs, at a fraction of the cost of internal pipeline inspection using intelligent PIGS.
GUL Inspection using the GUL G3 focus software model is available for pipelines, especially those that cannot be inspected by using PIGS.
Online inspection can also be arranged and carried out (inclusive of pig tracking) and the resultant ‘features’ can be prioritised and remedial work carried out using a number of repair methods. These are primarily PLIDCO® Repair Clamps, 3X Products, Clockspring on Epoxy shells but other methods can also be utilised. As our Technicians are PII trained (a pre-requisite for our emergency response service) this means they are capable of pipeline assessment to determine the extent of third party damage or corrosion. The senior Managers are also P11 trained as ‘sentencers’ working hand in hand with the P11 Technicians and the client to determine the most suitable and cost effective repair method to adopt, to return the integrity of the pipe.
